Do you meditate? Have you tried? Have you tried and nothing happened? I really got into meditation around 2013-2014 and I couldn’t tell you how many YouTube videos I watched with titles like “how to activate your third eye” or “what is astral projection” or “guided meditation for dummies.”
I would spend hours on hours trying to figure out how to decalcify my pineal gland and how to not think so I can get into the deep stages of silence. The how to not think part was extremely tough. Soon as I thought I wasn’t thinking, that would be a thought about not thinking. It was a cycle of trial and failure.
The part that sucked was, everyone’s meditation is different and even when you think you’re not doing it right something is happening. Or is nothing happening? Who knows.
After 1 year of trying relentlessly, something DID happen. But when I tried to tell people what EXACTLY did happen. I find that they didn’t understand – ultimately because it wasn’t for them. It was my experience. A scary, goosebump, thrilling experience. Today, I wanted to share my experience with you and encourage you to think about meditating even if for 10 minutes on a daily basis. You don’t have to sit buddha style and you don’t need go do it for hours on end like me but the benefits of meditation include: higher perceptions, higher abilities and higher awareness of self. These were my benefits.
